So what Happens During a Rapid Tapping™ Session? 

 

How long are they?

Our sessions are carefully designed for maximum results in the minimum time. Our morning session is 7.45-8am, our lunchtime session 1.45-2pm.

What do I need to do?

No prep, no gym clothes, no zen scenario required. You can tap from anywhere. We believe that you can spare at least 15 minutes a day for active self-care... and that's all we ask from you.  

What is the process?

In each live Tapping Session your Instructor (our hand-picked, qualified practitioners) will be visible on screen whereas you won't be (so come in your pyjamas if you want!)

You will be asked to notice your emotion and score this feeling out of 10, with 10 being very strong emotions and 1 being none at all. The aim is to reduce the score of a negative feeling over the 15 minute session using the technique.

Next, you will follow your Tapping Practitioner, tapping in a specific sequence on places of your upper body and head, usually repeating phrases at the same time. This is why a little privacy is nice during the sessions, but not essential!

When are the sessions?

Our 7.45am early morning session is a great way to start your day. However, if this doesn't work for you or you fancy a second round we have a second slot later in the day at 1.45pm. We encourage you to come to at least one session.

Why this works and why we need it...

We used to think the brain was static. Now we know it has the ability to rewire itself thanks to a discovery called neuroplasticity, which means our brains change constantly - inline with our own thinking patterns and experiences.

The problem is two-fold:

  1. Mostly, our own internal thoughts and external situations may not be providing us with positive reinforcement to keep us energised and running at a high-vibe. 
  2. Our brains require daily ‘updates’ just like a computer, they need good conditioning to run at their peak, just like our bodies.  

Without daily updates we are running into the same old patterns, over and over. Great if you’re feeling like you’re on top of the world, winning at life, and free from all emotional pain? But what about the 99.9% of us? 

Without these daily ‘system updates’ our brains are still wired to survive. They’re built to keep us safe by ‘remembering’ something scary, stressful or traumatic. Every time even a whisper of that pops back at us... we go into the same energetic state. It’s like consistently drinking petrol because nobody has told you it’s not tap water and wondering why you feel rubbish all the time. 

Every time we have a negative experience in our lives that brings about a strong negative emotion, the little ‘peanut’ in our brain - our amygdala wakes up and screams ‘I am In danger!’ - Fight! Flee! Or Freeze!

When that little amygdala in our brain keeps sending messages saying ‘I’m not safe!’ It’s up to us to use a simple technique to tell it otherwise. 

Yes, at one time it used to be necessary for our very survival to be in a high-alert state to protect us from physical danger but nowadays that sense of stress has been shifted over to the realm of psychological stress, traumatic events, unpleasant situations and pain. 

The problem with this is that our brain can’t tell the difference between physical danger and modern day stresses, so it’s triggering us ALL THE TIME. How often does a tiger jump out at you? Our guess, not that often, yet our brains react the same way to a tigers appearance, an overly long To-Do lists and commuting delays.  

Sometimes, as a result, it can feel like no matter how hard we work, however much we try to reduce the anxiety, or kick bad habits, or have the balance we want, calm evades us. It can make us feel stuck and fed up. Like, what’s the point in all this, anyway? 

Isn’t it freeing to know that it’s the way we are built? 

This means we can get routinely plagued by self-doubt, ‘not-enoughness,’ self-sabotage, stuckness, overwhelm, panic and overachieving to offset energetic patterns that are holding us in unconscious gridlock.  

That’s where Rapid Tapping™ comes in.
